Casey Trujeque

NBA / WNBA Skills Trainer Movement Specialist NCCPT, NASM - PES

The creator and CEO of Unbound Sports, Casey Trujeque is a movement specialist, with a keen basketball mind. As a former all-league and all-state performer, Trujeque was a McDonald’s All American Nominee, NCAA Division 1 athlete and a State Champion both as a player and a coach (California & Oregon). While building a very successful following in Los Angeles, Trujeque dropped everything he knew – school, friends, plans, family, his newly established career – and took a leap of faith by moving to Portland, Oregon, where his best friend (now, client), Allen Crabbe, was drafted to the Portland Trailblazers. With Trujeque’s help and Crabbe’s commitment to this task, Crabbe went from a salary of a little over a million dollars to a four-year deal worth $75 million.

Since then, Casey has worked with a countless number of NBA, WNBA, Elite Division 1, and youth athletes. He believes that basketball as well as life is 80% psychology and 20% skill. Providing athletes with a holistic approach to training, Trujeque believes that his system, also known as “the pentagon,” is what has, and what will continue to set him apart. He has been featured in articles such as ESPN, Yahoo Sports, NBA.com, D1recruit, CSN, and The Oregonian to say the least. Brands as big as Nike have invited him in to speak, to give what he believes are the keys to basketball success. Being best known for his ability to transform, develop, and empower any athlete to reach their full potential, Trujeque is commonly recognized as: basketball’s best-kept secret. No matter the talent, Trujeque believes that with a dedicated mind, solidified plan, and unparalleled work ethic, he can change the course of an any athlete’s career forever.
